About

A community 5K held in East Prairie, Missouri, featuring a flat route along city streets and rural highways. The race is organized in conjunction with the East Prairie Main Street Party & Sweet Corn Festival and is open to runners and walkers of all ages.

Catering & aid stations

Multiple water stations along the course. Portable restrooms and running water facilities available at the start/finish location at Body Fx Gym.

Pacers

Pacers will be available and identified by Pacerflaggen on race day, aligned to start waves shown on the registration form and the published schedule for Laufende.

The Huskers 5K is a flat route along well-marked city streets, sidewalks, and rural highways.

Are pets or bikes allowed?

No. For safety on open roads: No pets, bikes, or rollerblades.

Is there on-site registration?

Yes. On-site registration is available from 5:30 PM until race time (first come, first served).

What are the age group awards?

Awards will be presented to Top Overall Male, Top Overall Female, and Age Group Awards: 10 & Under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+ (based on race day age).
