A multi-distance running festival on the Isle of Wight featuring the Needles Half Marathon, Tapnell 10K, Junior Fun Run and community runs, with scenic coastal routes and support for local charities.

Catering & aid stations

Water stations on course (approx. 4.5 mi, 9.5 mi, 12.5 mi); water provided at finish. Coffee, teas and light refreshments available in the Sports Centre café. On-course toilets at multiple points; use pre-race facilities where possible.

Pacers

Pacers will be present with pacer flags on the Needles Half Marathon and Tapnell 10K to help runners maintain target times per start wave. Follow pacers’ directions and race-day signage for best pacing and safety.

FAQ

Do I need to register in advance?

Junior Fun Run is free and register on the day. For the Needles Half Marathon and Tapnell 10K, early online pre-registration is recommended; race-day registration may be available but is limited.

What is the age policy?

Junior Fun Run welcomes ages 4+. Half Marathon and Tapnell 10K require participants to be at least 16 years old on race day; under 18s need guardian consent.

What is the cut-off time?

The Half Marathon cut-off is 3 hours 30 minutes; the 10K has a 2-hour cut-off. Participants unable to finish within the limit risk not receiving a medal.

Are there toilets and showers?

Toilets are available at multiple points on route and at the finish; shower and changing facilities at the Sports Centre are limited — come ready to run.

Are dogs allowed?

No dogs are allowed on any race routes for safety and compliance.
