A family-friendly 5K walk/run through Duxbury’s scenic neighborhoods held on July 4th each year, supporting innovative educational programs in Duxbury Public Schools and celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
Pacers
Pacers will be provided for the 5K with target start waves and pace flag guidance published on the race day Renntag schedule at the Steele Athletic Building.

What is the race date and start time?
Race day is Saturday, July 4th. The 5K Walk/Run starts at 8:30 AM; the Kids Fun Run starts at 8:00 AM on the track at the Steele Athletic Building.
How many participants are allowed?
Limited to 1,000 bibs for the 5K and 100 bibs for the Kids Fun Run, first come first served.
What is included in the entry fee?
All participants receive a DEF July 4th Road Race T-shirt. Awards are presented to top finishers in each age category and the most patriotic runner.
