About
The Juneteenth Freedom 5K/5 Mile Run is an event that preserves history with significant meaning and direct community benefit. Commemorating the day when enslaved people in Texas learned they were free, the race supports scholarships for college-bound youth through partnership with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Catering & aid stations
Pancake breakfast included; hydration provided along the course.
Pacers
Pacers will be present with pace flags at designated start waves on race day; target times per wave are published on the event page. Pacers support runners in maintaining goal pace.
