What is the terrain like?

53 km – The Mountain Stage: Expect rugged mountain terrain — rocky, rooty, and potentially muddy if the weather turns wet. The course includes 2 km of road at the start and 2 km at the finish, 2 km of old logging road, and the rest is glorious single track winding up and down Mount Buchanan. 22 km – The River Stage: A pure single-track experience through lush forest and riverside trails. Flowing, technical, and full of character. 10 km – The Lake Stage: A fun mix of single track and wide gravel trails, with about 1.5 km on the road. Smooth, scenic, and the perfect way to kick off the weekend.

Staying alert helps ensure a safer race for everyone—and lets you take in the raw beauty of the wild terrain around you.
