About

A 100K mountain challenge run in the Wasatch above Provo, Utah, featuring extensive trail, dirt road and paved sections with ~17,400 ft of elevation gain; includes multiple aid stations, drop bags, pacers and awards.

Catering & aid stations

Full aid and one water stop plus one spring, spaced approximately 3–8 miles apart; mirrored on return. Drinks, fluid replacement, fruit, candy, pretzels, cookies, sandwiches, crackers, chips, potatoes, salt, etc.

Pacers

Race uses pacers. Early Start for those needing extra time: 1:00 AM. Standard start 3:00 AM. Refer to the chart for pace windows per Startwave; pacers and pacers flags are provided on course.

What are the registration fees and deadlines for Kat’cina Mosa 100K?

$160 by March 31st; $174 by May 31st; $189 by July 10th. Discounts: $10 off for 2023 SP50 completers; additional $10 off for 2023 Snowshoe 50K/marathon completers. Payment via online entry form.

Where and when is the race start and finish?

Start and finish at Vivian Park, Provo Canyon, Utah. Packet pickup and pre-race dinner at Hampton Inn & Suites Orem.

What are the drop bag and crew access rules?

Drop bags checked by 2:30 AM at start. Crew access at select miles (2.1, 16.3, 23.1, 37.35, 43.4, 56.3). No drop bags at AS#5; no course access from Big Springs to Windy Pass except by hiking/ running.
