When can I register for the event?

Registration opens on January 1, 2025. Registration ends on Tuesday, September 23rd at 8:30pm. There is NO SAME DAY registration, and the cutoff has been moved up to 5 days before the event.

When can I get my bib?

There are 3 days you can get your bib. All at the Kenai Chamber of Commerce. Early Bib Pickup – Friday 09/26/2025: 12:00PM – 5:00PMBib Pickup and Speaker – 09/27/2025: TBDRace Check-in & Bib Pickup – 09/28/2025: 7:00AM – 8:30AM

Is KRM a Boston Qualifier?

Accepted Answer

While the Kenai River Marathon was previously a Boston Qualifier, it is not currently a qualifier due to the construction on the Kenai Highway. We intend on recertifying the course eventually, though we cannot guarantee a specific date.

Is there a time limit for the marathon?

Accepted Answer

No, however services are not obligated to continue after 4PM. This includes Water Stations, Kenai Chamber Building Usage, Timing, etc.Any services offered beyond this point is from the generosity of volunteers.
