About

A classic ultra marathon event featuring 100 mile, 100k, 50k and 38 mile fun run options on the Ice Age Trail and mixed trail network in southern Wisconsin.

Catering & aid stations

On-course food and drink provided at multiple trail aid stations along the course. Hot and cold options available; dietary accommodations announced in pre-race materials.

Pacers

Pacemakers are permitted at designated aid stations after the 100 km point or after 6:30 pm at Bluff. Pacers provide encouragement and emergency support only; no muling is allowed. Runners over age 60 may pick up a pacer at the Hwy 67 aid station on their second pass (mile 37).

FAQ

When is the race day and packet pickup?

Race day is Saturday, June 13, 2026. Packet pickup is Friday, June 12, 3:00–7:00 PM at Nordic Trailhead (N9084 Co Rd H, Whitewater, WI 53190); Nordic and John Muir parking open to all park users at 7:30 AM.

Can I register on race day?

50k runners may pick up their bib at the start line. 38 mile fun run registration and packet pickup is at the start/finish area; arrive early as volunteer capacity is limited.

Are pacers allowed?

Pacers are permitted after 100 km or after 6:30 pm at Bluff at crew-access aid stations only. They may not mule or provide personal support beyond emergency encouragement. Walkers and pacemakers must respect all rules and aid station closures.

What about parking and parking passes?

100 mile runners receive a printed parking pass at Friday packet pickup and must display it in the window at Nordic or John Muir lots. Unauthorized parking may result in towing; crew vehicles must also obey no-parking signs.

Is the event sanctioned and are there age restrictions?

Yes, the event enforces course rules, age restrictions may apply for certain distances, and violations result in disqualification. Check event website for current age and rule details.
