About
A genuine desert race in Western Australia’s Gascoyne region, testing competitors across some of the country’s harshest and most remote landscapes with cars, bikes and quads battling for speed along the 117 km course.
Catering & aid stations
Food vendors and bar area available at the start/finish and along the course; on-course aid stations provide food and drink.
Pacers
Pacers will be deployed per Startwave on the ‘Renntag für Laufende’ schedule; follow Pacerflaggen on course and adhere to 20m minimum distance.

When and where is the event?
2026 Coral Coast Helicopter Services Kickstarter’s Gascoyne Dash, Carnarvon, Western Australia, 13–16 August 2026. Main race day is 16 August.
How do I enter and pay?
Complete the online entry form on the event site and pay by Stripe or EFT; entries close TBC and are limited (100 bikes, 50 cars/ quads).
What licence do I need?
Competitors must hold a valid MA competition license or an MA affiliated club membership plus a current civil driver’s license; specifics vary by class (see bike- and car-entry pages).
What is included in the entry fee?
Entry fee includes race administration, pit support for 2 crew, and access to all event briefings and the awards dinner (where applicable).
Are refunds possible?
Refunds less an $80 administration fee are available only if cancellation is received in writing before the entry deadline; no refunds after that.
