The Klompen Classic 5K is a beloved Pella tradition that draws runners and walkers together to race for a cause. Every dollar raised supports Crossroads of Pella and their mission to strengthen local children and families.

Pacers
The 5K will use a wave start with chip timing. Runners will be grouped by pace into Start Corrals and asked to report 15 minutes before the 7:00pm gun; a true chip-time start is used. There will not be water stations on the course—water is offered at the finish.

Is there a t-shirt included?
Yes, a t-shirt is included with race registration (guaranteed for registrations completed by April 24).
Are there water stations on the course?
No. Water stations are not provided on the course; water will be offered at the finish area.

The 5K starts at 7:00pm on May 6, 2026. Wave start with chip timing; runners report 15 minutes early for corral assignment.
