About

An international ski touring festival and pop-up race series held in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, combining ski touring, freerando and mountain sports — "The Race of the Grands" celebrating the valley’s mountain DNA.

Catering & aid stations

A collation (petit-déjeuner) is offered before departure. On-course aid stations available at the Point de Vue and col des Grands Montets (3240m), and at the finish if weather and conditions permit.

Pacers

Pacers will be positioned at key points and flagged at start waves according to target times published on the race day schedule. Pacers must display pacer flags and follow the prescribed target times per wave.

What equipment is mandatory for TDG 110 and TDG 65?

Mandatory equipment includes: identity card or license, touring skis or splitboard with skins, ski touring boots, poles, helmet, harness, ice axe, and automatic crampons. A detailed checklist is in the race regulations.

Are there age categories and prize money?

Yes. TDG 110 and TDG 65 include senior (21–39) and master (40+) categories. Prize money is awarded to the top three scratch times on each event.

What are the registration deadlines?

Online registration is open from 1 December 2024 to 7 March 2025 for TDG Experience and TDG 110, and until 8 March 2025 for TDG 65. On-site registration is available on race mornings with limited availability.
