The Lahinch Half Marathon & 6 Mile returns for its second edition with over 2,000 runners expected along the Wild Atlantic Way, offering a scenic coastal and countryside route with ample parking, hydration stations, and full support.

Catering & aid stations

Water stations at approximately 6 km, 12 km, and 18 km. Water is provided in small bottles with waste bins placed nearby. Bag drop, toilets, refreshments, and medical support are available at the start/finish area.

Pacers

Official pacers will be available to help you hit your target finish time. Pacers are clearly identifiable at the start line with pacing flags or bibs.

Is there bag drop?

Yes — bag drop is available at the start/finish area.

Are toilets available?

Yes — toilets will be available at the start/finish area and along the route at designated points.

How will I receive my race pack if I register?

If you selected postage during registration, your race pack and number will be posted 7–10 days before the event. Otherwise, you can collect it on race morning or during the Saturday pickup window.

Is parking available?

Yes — ample parking is available near the start/finish at TUS Limerick (Old Cratloe Road). It is pay-and-display; please purchase a ticket or use the appropriate parking app.

What time should I arrive?

Arrive at least 60 minutes before the start (by 8:00 am) to allow time for parking, warm-up, and any last-minute prep. The race begins promptly at 9:00 am.

Are there hydration stations?

Yes — there will be three hydration stations along the course at approximately 6 km, 12 km, and 18 km. Water is provided in small bottles, with bins placed nearby to keep the route clean.

Will I receive a medal?

Yes — every runner who crosses the finish line will receive a custom Limerick Half Marathon medal.

Are there official pacers?

Yes — we’ll have official pacers to help you hit your target finish time. Pacers will be clearly identifiable at the start line with pacing flags or bibs.

Can I transfer my entry?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds once registration is complete. However, in some cases, you may be able to transfer your entry to another runner before the event — please check your registration confirmation for details.

Where is the start/finish?

The start and finish area are both located at TUS Limerick, Old Cratloe Road. Full details and signage will be provided closer to race day.

What support is available on race day?

You’ll find bag drop, toilets, refreshments, and medical support available at the start/finish area. Marshals and volunteers will be on hand to assist you throughout the morning.
