About

A scenic trail run crossing Lake Barkley Bridge into the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, featuring a paved start, wooded intermediate segment, and a final paved stretch to the finish at Kentucky Lake.

Catering & aid stations

Water stations approximately every two miles along the Central Hardwood Trail (Devil’s Elbow, Sunset, Meredith, Visitor’s Center, English Hill, Fenton).

Pacers

Pacers set target times per start wave listed on the Race Day schedule; pacers must display pacer flag bibs. Refer to the event schedule for wave-specific start times.

FAQ

Do I need to register my dog for the event?

No — dog registration is not required. Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash for the entire event and owners must clean up after them.

When does packet pickup occur?

Packet pickup is on Saturday, October 17 from 6:00–7:30 am at Kenlake State Resort Park (542 Kenlake Rd., Hardin, KY 42048), near the tennis courts.

Is there transportation on race day?

Yes — buses transport runners from registration at Kenlake to the start line and from exchange zones back to the finish. Shuttles run from 6:00–7:30 am. You are asked not to be dropped at the start line due to limited parking.
