About
Augsburger Nachtlauf organized by Kuhsee Triathlon — a 5 km night run on a well-lit cinder path around the Kuhsee lake with two laps. The event includes timed night racing, food and drink at the finish, and a fun atmosphere. Part of the Night & Day Champion double-header with the triathlon held the next day.
Catering & aid stations
Finish line hydration and food: water, Isodrink from Residenzquelle, fruit, and bakery items from Bio-Vollwertbäckerei Schubert. Alkoholfrei beer from Erdinger available at the finish.
Pacers
The Augsburger Nachtlauf features a paced group led by the event pacer to support runners in completing the 5 km route at a steady, race-paced effort. Follow the official pacer to maintain your target split; pacers will lead from the start and remain on course through both laps. This is a timed night race with net timing via transponder in the race number — do not race pace from the gun alone.

Who can participate in the Nachtlauf?
The Nachtlauf is open to men, women, and children of any age who can complete the 5 km course in a reasonable time.
Is timing included in the entry fee?
Yes, the entry fee includes net timing via transponder, as well as finish line catering and the participation shirt.
Are there refunds if I can't attend?
No refunds are given for non-attendance. Non-participation does not entitle a refund of the start fee.
Can I register on-site?
Yes, on-site registration is available on race day from 18:00 to 21:00, subject to remaining capacity. Payment must be made in cash.
