About

A Thanksgiving tradition in Chicago presented by Life Time, featuring a 5K and 8K course, a festive tailgate, and the Plymouth Rock Ramble kids’ run for families. All ages are welcome to kick off the holiday season with a fun run and post-race celebration.

Catering & aid stations

On-course refreshments/aid stations provide water and sports drinks; finish area features a festive Turkey Day Tailgate with fall treats, food vendors, and live music.

Pacers

Pacers will be provided for the 5K and 8K races shown on the event website and in the Regatta packet; see the 'Renntag für Laufende' page for target times per start wave and pacer-flag guidance.

What are the age groups and distances for the Kids Race?

Ages 2–4: 50 yards; Ages 5–6: 1/4 mile; Ages 7–12: 1/2 mile. All run from the Diversey Driving Range Parking Lot; parents are welcome to join.

Is there registration cancellation or refund policy?

No refunds; all fees are non-transferable. Deferrals are available for a guaranteed spot in the following year’s race with a 50% new registration fee. Specific policy details are provided at registration.
