A family-friendly Thanksgiving race in Tropical Park offering 5K, 10K, and kids distances with a festive finish festival featuring food, games, and photo opportunities.
Catering & aid stations
Post-race food and refreshments available at the Finish Festival. On-course hydration stations provide water at miles 1.7 (5K) and miles 1.7 & 3.5 (10K).
Pacers
Wave starts based on estimated pace: Wild Turkeys (8:25/mile and under), The Flock (8:26–10:30/mile), and Gobblers (10:31+). Participants in Corrals A & B must wear the provided corral wristband. Walkers/strollers start in Tail Feathers corral.

What is the race start time for 5K and 10K?
The 5K and 10K begin at 7:00 AM on Thanksgiving Day with wave starts every 2 minutes based on pacer groups.
Are strollers permitted in the race?
Yes, strollers are allowed. Participants with strollers must start in the Tail Feathers (last) corral and must not run on the track with the child.
What should I bring to packet pickup?
Bring a valid photo ID and download the Life Time App with your event pass ready. Pre-race packet pickup is encouraged; limited pickup is available on race day.
Is there parking at Tropical Park?
Yes, parking is available at Tropical Park via Bird Road at SW 79th Ave and SW 82nd Ave. Plan to arrive early; no cars are allowed into the park after 6:30 AM.
What are the age groups for the Kids Race and distances?
Kids Race ages 2–9: 2–3 years (100 m), 4–5 years (200 m), 6–7 years (400 m), 8–9 years (600 m).
Are refunds or transfers allowed?
No refunds; transfers to another non-registered runner are permitted with a $15 fee prior to the deadline. Deferrals to the following year require a new registration with 50% of the entry fee.
