Catering & aid stations

Water stations with small bottles at approximately 5 km, 11 km, and 17 km. Aid stations are available at the start/finish and along the route.

Pacers

Yes — official pacers will be on course and clearly identifiable at the start line with pacing flags or bibs to help you hit your target finish time.

Is there a bag drop?

Yes — bag drop will be available at the start/finish area.

Are toilets available?

Yes — toilets will be available at the start/finish area and along the route at designated points.

When are race packs available for collection?

Saturday (Aug 1st): 11:00am – 1:00pm; Sunday (Race Morning): 7:00am – 8:30am — outside Thomond Park (Main Entrance).

Is there parking on race day?

Yes — ample parking is available at TUS Limerick (Old Cratloe Road) and near Thomond Park. It is pay-and-display; please bring a ticket or use the relevant parking app.

When does the race start?

The race starts promptly at 9:00am. Please be race-ready at the start line by 8:50am.

Are there hydration stations?

Yes — there will be three water stations along the course at approximately 6 km, 12 km, and 18 km.

Are finisher medals provided?

Yes — every runner who crosses the finish line will receive a custom Limerick Half Marathon medal.

Are pacers available?

Yes — official pacers will be at the start line with pacing flags or bibs to help you hit your target finish time.

Can I transfer my entry?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds once registration is complete. In some cases, you may be able to transfer your entry to another runner before the event — please check your registration confirmation for details.
