About

The Lykos Half Marathon takes place between the UNESCO World Heritage travertine terraces of Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis. It combines running, history, and nature, with the final 2 km passing through ancient ruins.

Catering & aid stations

Aid stations along the course provide food and drink. Race kit includes sponsor treats.

Pacers

Pacemakers will be present for the Half Marathon (21K) and 10K races, with target times published per Startwave. All runners are directed to the start area; Pacerflaggen will be visible on the course.

When is the race kit collection?

Race kits are distributed October 23–24, 2026 at Forum Denizli and on October 24, 2026 at the Pamukkale event area. No distribution on race day.

What are the age categories for the 10K and Half Marathon?

Age categories span 16–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, 80–84, and 85+ based on race day (Oct 25, 2026).

What are the results for the 5K run?

Top results: Women 1st Deniz Koyuncu (23:30.40), 2nd Hasibe Demir (24:23.20), 3rd Derya Köse (25:45.80). Men 1st Mehmet Kalyoncu (18:09.20), 2nd Kerem Baybatur (18:39.20), 3rd Muhammed Ağgün (19:22.60).
