What are the age requirements for each race?

Mälarömilen (10 km): minimum age 14 (under 18 requires parental consent). Mälaröfemman (5 km): open to all ages; children under 12 should run with an adult. Lilla Mälarömilen (3.2 km): ages 9–13. Mälarö Knattelopp (0.5 km): ages 0–8 (under 6 must be accompanied by an adult).

Is registration open and how do I sign up?

Registration is open online at https://malaromilen.se/en/register/. Sign up closes 7 days before race day; after that, late registration is available on-site for an increased fee. Limited start slots apply — registration may close early if the event fills.

What are the entry fees and payment options?

Standard and late registration fees vary by distance and age (e.g., Mälarömilen adults: SEK 345 standard, SEK 450 late). Payment is made via digital methods at registration (card, Swish, Klarna, or partner payment services). Registration is valid only after payment is completed.

What happens if the event is cancelled or changed?

Mälarö SOK may cancel or modify the event due to weather, permits, safety, or other reasons. Changes may affect date, start time, route, or other details. Entry fee refunds are only issued if cancellation occurs; otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

What is the result publication and prize ceremony schedule?

Timed races (Lilla Mälarömilen competitive classes, Mälaröfemman, Mälarömilen) provide timing and rankings. Prize ceremonies for top three finishers in each class take place after the race at the finish area. Start lists and results are published on the website.
