About
A rugged 50-mile and 50-kilometer trail race through the forests and rolling terrain of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, hosted by a nonprofit trail organization with a strong volunteer-supported community.
Catering & aid stations
Aid stations offer water, Hammer Nutrition HEED drink, soda, Hammer Nutrition gels, fruit (watermelon, cantaloupe, oranges, bananas), cookies, PBJ sandwiches, pretzels, potato chips, granola bars, and candy. Cups are not provided; runners must carry their own hydration system or use a collapsible cup available at packet pickup.
Pacers
Pacers are not allowed at the Marquette Trail 50. For the safety and fairness of all participants, the event uses an open mass start with staggered corrals by distance (50K and 50-mile). Refer to the race schedule or event materials for recommended start times; no pace groups or pacing vehicles are provided.
