About

Run the Medicine Bow Rail Trail and around Lake Owen in Wyoming’s Medicine Bow National Forest — a fundraiser for trail maintenance hosted by the Friends of the Medicine Bow Rail Trail.

Catering & aid stations

Aid stations provide water, Gatorade, and minimal food — primarily Honey Stinger products.

Pacers

Pacers join select portions of the course (noted in ‘Renntag für Laufende’ materials), including defined start waves for the marathon; pacers are not permitted on much of the Lake Owen singletrack due to narrow/unsuitable sections. Pacers must respect course rules and aid station protocols.
