The MOORATHON is a Germany-wide participatory event aimed at protecting peatlands through sports such as running, cycling, and hiking. Participants can take part from August 3 to September 13, 2026, tracking their movements via the Summitree app to contribute to peatland restoration efforts.

Participants will have access to refreshments at various checkpoints during the event.
Pacers
Pacing support will be available for participants to help them maintain their chosen pace throughout the event. Team leaders will guide runners and ensure everyone stays engaged and motivated.
