Catering & aid stations

Bananas and mandarins at finish, plus food to purchase. Fluid nutrition available on-course. Beer and cider (1 free for 21+, ID required) 10:00–13:00.

FAQ

Where should I park?

All participant parking will be at the Rock Parking Lot. There will be temporary parking for kayak/SUP drop off and pick up at Coleman Park.

What do you get on race day?

Swim cap (if swimming) colored to match your wave, pin on bib, bike bib, race shirt, timing, finish and race photos for purchase, bananas and mandarins at finish, plus food and fluid/drink stations.

Mandatory Gear?

Valid ID, USAT card (or single-day membership), wetsuit (58°F water — full sleeves recommended), bike with bar-end plugs, approved helmet.

What are the distances?

Olympic: 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run. Sprint: 750 m swim, 20.5 km bike, 5.4 km run. Olympic Kayak/SUP: 3 miles. Sprint Kayak/SUP: 1.6 miles.

Is drafting allowed?

No. This is a non-drafting triathlon. USAT officials monitor the bike course; drafting results in time penalties.

Refund/Cancellation Policy?

No refunds or credits for race cancellations. The event is not responsible for refunds if natural or national emergencies or government policy changes affect the course.

Packet pick-up?

Saturday, October 31, 4:00–7:00 pm at Coleman Park, Morro Bay. Sunday morning also available 6:00–7:30 am.
