Mosvannsløpet is held in early September in Stavanger, Norway, with a 3 km race and a shorter barneløp for children. The event takes place around Lake Mosvannet with start and finish at Mosvangen Camping.
Pacers
Elite classes are reserved for women and men who are members of a Norwegian Athletics Association club, with expected finish times under 10:00 (men) or 11:30 (women). Elite runners start at 18:00 in the first heat. Other participants are categorized by age groups (13–14, 15–16, 17–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, etc.), and receive net times measured from start to finish. Children’s races start at 17:00 (10–12), 17:05 (7–9), and 17:10 (0–6) with entry fees of 100 NOK.
