Not your everyday run/walk! A fun, music-fueled event on South Padre Island with live entertainment along the course, featuring mariachi bands, a costume-friendly atmosphere, and a post-run party with tacos and drinks.

What is the race day schedule?
Expo and packet pickup: 10:30 am–4:30 pm. Start times: 5:00 pm for 5K/10K/1 Mile (staggered). After-party begins ~5:30 pm. Awards announced ~6:30 pm.
Is the event rain or shine?
Yes — the event is rain or shine. In severe weather a delay or virtual option may be activated per city guidance.
What are the pace requirements for the 10K?
10K runners/walkers must reach the 1.55 mile marker within 26 minutes of start to remain on the 10K course. A sag vehicle is available for assistance.
Are refunds available?
No refunds or deferrals once registered. Transfers incur a $10 fee and are only permitted through October 17, 2026.
What is the parking situation?
Free parking at Beach Waterpark, first-come first-served — arrive early for packet pickup.
