About
The fifth edition of the Nairobi City Marathon takes place on June 7, 2026! Run alongside everyday heroes and elite athletes alike, and discover the spirit of the 'Green City under the Sun' as you stride across the breathtaking Nairobi Expressway. Choose from a variety of distances ranging from 5Km, 10Km, half marathon, and full marathon.

There are supply stations provided along the course at various points for all distances.
Pacers
Experienced pacers will guide runners to help achieve their time goals, with a range of target times available from 2:59 to 5:00 in the marathon event.

You may be able to collect your bib number from the registration area at the Nyayo National Stadium on 4, 5 and 6 of June 2026. You will require your e-ticket to pick up your participant package. This will be shared a week to the event. Opening Hours Thursday 4th June from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM. Friday 5th June from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday 6th June from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM. THERE IS NO BIB COLLECTION ON SUNDAY. NOTE: TSHIRT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE WHILE STOCKS LAST.2. Are you having challenges with VISA and Mastercard?

Yes, for the marathon, half marathon and 10 km expressway distances Also, for all the distances, all participants receive a unique finisher's medal upon completing their respective runs and a participant T-shirt.7. Is there luggage storage available at the venue?
There is luggage storage available at the marathon venue. When handing in your sports bag for storage, you will be given a numbered sticker which you have to attach to your bib number. The same number will also be attached to your sports bag. You will only be able to collect your sports bag by showing your bib number with the numbered sticker. Note: Once you have handed in your sports bag, you will not be able to get it back until AFTER your finish. Storage will be at the event venue, The Nyayo National Stadium. 8. Are there changing rooms available at the venue?
