About

A scenic 13.1-mile road race through State College and the Nittany Valley, benefiting Centre Volunteers in Medicine. The half-marathon draws hundreds of runners each year and supports the only free clinic in Centre County.

Catering & aid stations

Water stations at miles 3.2, 6.8, 9.1, and 11.7. Aid stations offer water, Gatorade, bananas, granola bars, and other essentials. Portable restrooms available at Snider Ag Arena and on Rock Road.

Pacers

Pacemaker groups will be announced on race morning at the start corrals and displayed on the race-day schedule. Pacers will lead portions of the course to help runners achieve target times; flags will identify pacers at key intersections.

FAQ

Are there any course time requirements?

Yes. You must be at mile 9 (Water Stop 3) by 12:30 PM. The course closes at 2:00 PM and all runners must finish within 4 hours.

Is there traffic on the course?

The course is open to traffic. Runners must follow Pennsylvania road laws, stay on the shoulder, remain alert to vehicles, and follow instructions from volunteers and race staff.

Where should I park?

Parking is at the fields behind the Ag Arena. Parking elsewhere may result in tickets or towing; follow volunteer and police directions on race day.

What are the rules on items not allowed?

Do not bring pets, strollers/baby joggers, bikes, headphones or other listening devices, or personal music players. Follow all course signage and volunteer instructions.

Can I transfer my registration?

Transfers to another participant are allowed. Log into your RunReg account, click Edit/Transfer, and complete the steps. Registrations are non-refundable due to the charity arrangement.
