How can i register for the norseman ballot?
Norseman Xtreme Triathlon and XTRI World Championships 2027 ballot will open Thursday, October 1, at 15:00 CEST. The ballot will close Thursday, October 15, at 14:59 CEST.The entry link will be posted on www.nxtri.com and via our social channels.
When Can i register for norseman using x-points?
You will be able to use your X-Points balance to enter Norseman and XTRI World Championship 2027 from Thursday, October 1, at 15:00 CEST to Thursday, October 15, at 14:59 CEST. There will be 100 slots available for holders of X-points for our race in 2027.
How does the x-point system help me get to norseman?
When we open our ballot you will be able to apply for a X-points slot. The 100 athletes who apply with the highest number of X-points will be offered a place to race. Those who are unsuccessful will be able to enter the ballot immediately afterwards. Anyone can apply for a points slot, but you should use our points listing table to estimate your chances. For example, if you are number 45 on the list you will be guaranteed a slot, if you are number 150 it’s worth trying (as not everyone on the list will enter), if you are number 420, it’s unlikely you will be lucky.

how does the extra chances in the draw work?
From the 2016 race, we started giving extra chances for athletes not successful in the draw. Adding an extra chance for every consecutive unsuccessful year.First-year applying gives 1 chance in the draw.Second-year, 2 chancesThird-year, 3 chancesAnd so on..The extra chances can be tracked on the athlete profile on www.race.se.If awarded a starting slot, or if not signing up consecutive years, the counter will be reset.
