About

One of the oldest trail ultramarathons in Arizona, set in the scenic Santa Rita Mountains with starts at the historic Kentucky Camp mining site.

Catering & aid stations

Water, electrolyte drink, potatoes, oranges, bananas, chips, M&Ms, pretzels, PB&J sandwiches, Coke, V-8, and soup available at aid stations. No electrolyte tablets provided.

Pacers

Pacers are allowed for 50-mile runners aged 60 and older on the second loop. Pacers must check in and start their pacing duties at Kentucky Camp at the race start.

What are the time limits?

25 mile: 7 hours; 50 mile: 15 hours. All 50-mile runners must complete the first loop by 1:00 PM.

Are drop bags allowed?

Yes, drop bags are permitted at all aid stations for 50-mile runners and must be placed in the designated bins with name, aid station, and bib number.

Is crew access allowed at all aid stations?

No, crew access is not allowed at Melendrez Pass aid station; runners will be disqualified if crew is present there.
