The Oman Muscat Marathon celebrates the spirit of endurance and the beauty of Oman’s landscapes. Whether you're a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best or a beginner participating in your first race, this event offers various distances to suit every fitness level.

Catering & aid stations

Participants will have access to water stations and energy drinks at regular intervals along the course, as well as snacks and refreshments at the finish line.

Pacers

Pacing groups will be available for the marathon, with pacers helping participants maintain their target finish time. Check the event website for specific pacing times and locations.

What are the event postponement and cancellation guidelines?

If the event is postponed, a refund can be requested by sending an email to info@muscatmarathon.om a maximum of 2 weeks after the announcement. After this date, all registrations will automatically be moved to the rescheduled dates of the event as mentioned above.If the event is cancelled indefinitely, you will be able to avail of a refund on your ticket. The amount refunded will be excluding service charges paid in both scenarios. For more information, please read our Terms & Conditions.

How do I update my information in my registration?

To update your information, either click on the relevant link in your confirmation email or the link inside the red box in your payment receipt email.If you would like to update your email address, please email info@muscatmarathon.om and we will do this for you.

What should I do if there is an issue with my results?

If you cannot find your time or believe there is an issue with your time please email info@muscatmarathon.om and we will try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

When can I view my race result?

Race result will be available to search on our official website soon after the end of the event.

What do I do if I don’t receive or if I lose my Marathon Bib Number?

Bring a government-issued photo ID to the registration area on race day. A new number will be issued, and the previous number/timing device will be cancelled.

I have not received any emails confirming my entry to the event, what should I do?

If you didn’t receive a confirmation email, it means your entry is incomplete. Please check:Did you press “send” after registering?Is your email address correct?Did you check spam/trash folder?Did you check your email/security/spam settings?If the issue remains, contact info@muscatmarathon.om

What is the cut-off time for each distance?

Marathon: 6 hoursHalf Marathon: 3 hours10KM Run: 2 hours5KM Run: 1 hour

I lost an item at the event, do you have lost property?

Email a detailed description to info@muscatmarathon.om and the team will try to return your item.

What time should I be at the start line?

At least 30 minutes before your race starts. Full details (including parking and road closures) will be in the Runners’ Guide.

When/where will the Race Pack collection be?

Race pack collection details will be announced closer to the event.

What will I get in my Race Pack?

Each pack includes your bib, baggage tag, event t-shirt, and sponsor goodies.

I cannot make my Race Pack collection dates, what are my options?

Someone else can collect it for you if they bring:A copy of your confirmation emailA letter stating they are collecting on your behalfA photo ID

Can I collect my Race Pack the morning of the event?

Only international runners arriving after the official collection period may collect on the morning of the event (between 04:30–05:30 on January 23 & 24).
