About
The Malaysia Open Water Swimming PD Classic is the region’s first open-water swimming race circuit, offering multiple distances in a safe, professional environment with dedicated pacing support. Organized by the only OWS specialist in Malaysia, it aims to develop OWS across the region and establish Malaysia as an open-water swimming hub.
Pacers
Pace groups are published per start wave on the event day (Renntag). Each pacer flags their target split times and wears a visible pacer bib; swimmers may follow any pacer whose pace matches their goal. Registration lets you select your intended start wave and target time, and the course marshals and pacers will help keep groups aligned at the start.
