Transportation is not provided to or from any of the P.A.C.E. programs.With parent permission, students may qualify for rides via the cooperative alliance for regional transportation - cart-rides.orgOn a case by case basis and with permission from their Associate Dean, students may walk from or to an alternative site to take a bus to or from home.

ARE 504 PLANS & INDIVIDUAL EDUCATION PLANS IMPLEMENTED IN P.A.C.E.?

504 Plans are amended by team as deemed necessary and implemented in all P.A.C.E. Programs.Special Education Services must be refused to transfer to P.A.C.E. Afternoon/Evening in the Media Center, Ombudsman at the Alternative Learning Center and HiSET at the Upper Room Programs ONLY (no day classes/academic support/resource scheduled on the main Pinkerton campus).Students enrolled in a P.A.C.E. alternative program and day classes typically choose to keep academic support/resource in their schedule and continue to receive Special Education Services in the day.

WHICH GRADUATION CEREMONY DO STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN?

Afternoon/evening students may choose to participate in the traditional Pinkerton Academy standard graduation or the P.A.C.E. graduation ceremony.Ombudsman students may choose to participate in the traditional Pinkerton Academy standard graduation or the ALC graduation ceremony.HiSET students participate in the Upper Room’s graduation ceremony.

WHAT TYPE OF DIPLOMA DO P.A.C.E. STUDENTS EARN?

The HiSET is a high school equivalency credential, not a diploma. NOTE: Upon completing the HiSet, a student may return to school to earn a diploma, free of charge, until the age of 21. There is a fee for afternoon/evening classes for students who are 21+ years of age.Students who choose to switch from the standard to the adult diploma track will receive a Pinkerton Academy Adult Diploma.Students who choose to remain at the Ombudsman Program to complete their high school requirements will receive a Pinkerton Academy Alternative Diploma.

ARE PARKING PERMITS REQUIRED FOR P.A.C.E. PROGRAMS?

Parking permits are not required for students to park at the Upper Room, the Alternative Learning Center, or after normal school hours for afternoon/evening classes.Parking permits are available to P.A.C.E. students with reduced day schedules who otherwise do not qualify for a parking permit via the senior office.
