About UsThe club aims to promote the sport of running and to support, encourage and motivate runners of all ages and abilities. Members are encouraged to participate in races and events as a team and individually.Our training is structured to develop your running and equipe members with the experience to take part in events of all distances and terrains – and to be fun! Every month, the plan is uploaded onto the Training Plan of the site so you always have an idea what to expect to do on club night.

Pacers
Pacers are used for the relay with designated Start/Transition/Finish procedures. Each team has baton handoffs in the marked transition zone; runners must stay in assigned pens and follow marshal instructions.

What is the relay format and team size?
Teams consist of 4 runners (A, B, C, D). Each runner completes a 1.96-mile anti-clockwise loop before passing the baton in the marked transition zone.
What are the timing rules for baton handoff?
Incoming runners must pass the red wristband to the outgoing runner in the transition zone; failure to do so incurs a time penalty.
What are the award categories?
Senior Male (up to 159 combined years), Senior Female (up to 139), Senior Mixed (up to 144), Vet Male (160+), Vet Female (140+), Vet Mixed (150+). Cash prizes for breaking individual records.
