About

A mountain trail running competition in the Pădurea Craiului Mountains, hosted by AS Xterra Sport Bihor. The event offers 42.8 km marathon, 16.2 km cross and 10.2 km wild distances on marked forest roads and tourist paths, with start and finish in Șuncuiuș village.

Catering & aid stations

Water, isotonic drinks and other beverages (e.g. coke), and snacks (banana, orange, lemon) are offered at refreshment points by volunteers. Liquids are poured directly into the competitor’s water bottle or cup — no disposable cups are used.

FAQ

What are the age requirements for each distance?

Marathon and Cross: must be over 16; Wild: over 16. Ages 16–18 require written parental consent.

How can I register and pay?

Register only through the official webshop on the race site. Select your distance, complete the form, and pay via the EuPlătesc secure page. Registration is validated only after payment.

What equipment is mandatory?

Race bib (visible at all times), running bottle with min 0.5L water at start, trail running shoes with adequate sole, food (at least two energy bars or gels), and backpack or running-belt. For bad weather: waterproof rain jacket with hood, rain pants, long-sleeved shirt, hat/neck gaiter, gloves. Tracking poles are forbidden in the first round for safety.

What are the time limits and cutoff times?

Marathon: 9 hours; Cross: 4 hours; Wild: 3 hours. Cutoff times are not explicitly listed but the race enforces time limits; aid stations are available en route.

Can I cancel or change my registration?

You can cancel via email; the participation fee cannot be returned. Name changes are only allowed on 27th February 2026.
