About
A 1.25–1.5 mile looped, elevation-friendly route on a working farm near Charlotte, blending running, friends, beer and a fast-paced, ever-changing race format with progressive prizes and planetary support.
Catering & aid stations
On-course Verpflegung includes water, Tailwind and soda at Race HQ, plus pretzels, chips, sour patch kids, and farm-pickled items. Event is cup-free (BYO handheld/bottle) and safety-pin free (BYO bib/holding system).
Pacers
Psychoactive is a Last Runner Standing (elimination) format where all participants start each lap together at set intervals. A declining clock shortens the time window to complete each lap as the event progresses; missing the window or failing to start with the group results in elimination. The race continues until one runner remains—the Last Runner Standing—with multiple prize tiers awarded at 13.1 Mi, 26.2 Mi, 35 Mi and 50 Mi benchmarks.

What is a Last Runner Standing event?
It is an elimination-style, lap-based race where all runners start each lap together and are progressively eliminated by time windows or failure to start; the final runner remaining wins. It blends endurance, strategy and frequent small prizes.
Do I need to race the full distance?
No. You determine your own distance and duration; the event continues until one runner remains, and you can drop out anytime without penalty.
What should I bring to Race HQ?
Hydration (BYO bottle or handheld), nutrition, layered clothing, shade/chair if desired, and a change of clothes. Course is lap-based with returns to HQ for aid.
Are there age or gender restrictions?
No. The event is open to ALL genders. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Is registration available at the door?
Last call registration is $100 if available on-site; regular registration is $90 prior to the event.
