A popular annual fell race held near Macclesfield in the Peak District, featuring an 8 km route with about 230 m of climb.
Tea/coffee and great cakes available from 6:30 p.m. and after the race.
This race has a minimum pace band standard (Pacerflaggen). Pacers must display the current year’s official Pacerflag at the front of their pack. Target times per Startwelle align with FRA standard pacers; refer to the race programme for band classifications.

Fell running is hill or mountain running on an all-terrain route with no paths; navigation is done without GPS and the terrain can be very steep and challenging.
The Fell Runners Association governs fell racing in England and the Isle of Man, setting rules and safety standards for races.
Pre-entry is available and recommended; entry on the day is not permitted for this event.
You must carry full waterproofs, a hat and gloves, a map, a compass, and a whistle; additional gear may be required in winter.
