FAQ

How do I get my race number?

Numbers and tee shirts can be collected at Rathfarnham WSAF AC Clubhouse (Main Street) on Friday 25 Sept 19:00–21:00 and Saturday 26 Sept 12:00–16:00, or at Terenure College Gym on race morning 7:45–9:00. Numbers can also be posted if you select the postage option.

Can I transfer my number to someone else?

A number transfer window opens two weeks before the race on Eventmaster; personal details must be updated on the event database before the transfer. Do not run under someone else’s number without updating details to ensure correct contact info for emergencies.

Is parking available?

Parking is available at Terenure College Gym and in the Rathfarnham Shopping Centre carpark (at Tesco end, 50 m from the start).

Can I drop off my bag?

Bags can be stored in Terenure College Gym but are not supervised; store your bag in your car if possible.

Are there restrooms on the course?

Adequate toilets are available in Terenure College Gym. There will also be portable toilets on the grassed area near the start.

What about road closures and traffic management on race day?

Dodder View Road is closed 08:30–10:30 or until the last runner finishes. The cycle lane from Fairways Junction and the left lane on approach roads (Rathfarnham Road Bridge to Templeogue Road, Fairways Junction to finish) will be closed. Please obey the Gardai and race stewards.

I’m an elite athlete — how do I enter?

The club runs an elite entry system for athletes who have run under 16:00 for 5k in the past year (men) or 18:00 for women. Contact pjclaffey58@gmail.com for a separate entry link; proof of past times required.
