About

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois hosts the 42nd Annual Red Shoe Run & Walk 5K to support families with children receiving medical care. The event combines fundraising, community support, and a family-friendly 5K course.

Catering & aid stations

Refreshments available for participants and families at the event; includes water stations and light snacks along the course and at the finish area.

Pacers

Pacers will be provided for the 5K start wave to maintain a target time of approximately 15–20 minutes per mile; pacer flags will be displayed at the start corrals and along the course.
