About
The great classic of the end of the season, a competition that combines sport and food and wine, with three routes through the vineyards and the ancient villages of the middle Valtellina, and in the most prestigious wineries in Valtellina.
Catering & aid stations
On-course food and drink from aid stations (not pacemaker lines): wine and local specialties including pizzoccheri served at finish and along routes; bar service Friday 4:00–9:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM–midnight; traditional Valtellina lunch served from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM with meal voucher for athletes.
Pacers
Pacemaker/Pacer: Scheduled start times per distance are published on the event site (all start at 09:00); target times per Startwelle align with the published competition programme. Pacers are indicated with Pacerflaggen on the day.

When do registrations open?
Registrations open on May 1 at 9:00 AM.
What is the participant limit?
3,500 total participants across all distances; each distance has its own cap (1,300 for Sassella, 1,200 for Half, 1,000 for Full Marathon).
What is included in the entry fee?
Race bib, timing chip, medal finish, and a generous race bag with local delicacies, including a bottle of Valtellina wine.
Where can I pick up my bib?
Bib number pickup at the main tent (Thursday 2:00–8:00 PM and Friday 9:00–10:00 PM); digital confirmation letter available to show on smartphone.
What facilities are available on race day?
Aid stations with water, cola, juices, electrolytes, tea, chocolate, biscuits, oranges, bananas, dried fruit, and local pizzoccheri; showers at Municipal Pool (11:30 AM); bar service Friday–Saturday; traditional post-race lunch and DJ set Saturday evening.
