The Rim Rock Marathon & Half offers a point-to-point course on the Colorado National Monument with scenic views, serving as a qualifier for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series. The event includes marathon and half-marathon distances with an early morning start and on-course support.
On-course aid stations offer water, sports drinks, and gels; fuel and hydration tailored to endurance needs (not Pacemaker lines).
Pacemaker lines are set per Startwelle on race day; check the ‘Rennplan / Startliste’ on the Renntag page for target times and Pacerflaggen—follow designated pacers per wave and note any schedule adjustments.
Monthly averages based on historical data (2000–present).
No parking at either start line.
Spectating is not allowed on the Colorado National Monument; recommended spots are James M. Robb State Park and the Fruita Community Center.
Full marathon: drop at Red Canyon Overlook Aid Station #2 and Monument Canyon View Aid Station #5. Half-marathon: drop at Monument Canyon View Aid Station #5. Gear is usually returned by 1:00 PM.
Race-day packet pickup is tied to registration; check the registration page for exact times and procedures.
