A family-friendly run/walk event along the Detroit Riverfront and Dequindre Cut, organized to support the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy with course features, entertainment, and community engagement.
Catering & aid stations
On-course food and drink stations (Verpflegung) are provided; specifics will be announced prior to event day.
Pacers
The Detroit Riverfront Run provides target times per start wave (Pacerflaggen) on the race-day schedule (Renntag für Laufende). Pacers help runners maintain desired pace; bibs must be worn on the front center for accurate timing and photos.

What are the age limits for the races?
There are no age limits; the event welcomes participants of all ages.
Are the race events walker friendly?
Yes — the 5K is walker friendly for all speeds; the 10K is walker friendly if you can complete it in under 1 hour 40 minutes.
Are there refunds if I cannot attend?
There are no refunds, but you may exchange your registration to another participant.
Are baby joggers, strollers, or pet dogs allowed?
Yes; baby joggers, strollers, and dogs on a leash under 6 ft are permitted. Dogs must remain leashed, and participants with strollers/joggers should line up at the back of the start corral.
Are headphones allowed during the race?
Yes, but please be aware of your surroundings and other participants.
When is the last day to register?
The last day to register online is Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00 pm EST.
How will I receive my race packet?
Packets are picked up June 4, 12:00–6:00 pm at Eastern Market Shed 2 (2934 Russell Street, Detroit, MI 48207). Race-day pickup begins at 7:30 am at Cullen Plaza (1340 E. Atwater St.).
Is the race timed?
Yes, the race is professionally timed; results are posted onsite and online after the event.
