About

A 100-mile ultra on nice underfoot, runnable, scenic terrain — not to mention mythical trails. From the village hall you head out towards the Chesterfield Canal, then a 30-mile forest loop through Sherwood Forest (completed twice, first loop daylight and second in darkness), passing Clumber Park, Creswell Crags, The Major Oak and Welbeck Estate. Relatively flat with no major climbs; many runners achieve their first 100-mile finish.

Catering & aid stations

Verpflegung / on-course aid stations: hot soup, tea & coffee at finish; vegan food available (milk for hot drinks); well-stocked aid stations throughout.

Pacers

Pacers are allowed from Aid Station 4 (approx mile 51) to finish. One pacer at a time; pacer must not carry runner’s equipment. Pacers are also detailed on the Renntag für Laufende schedule with target times per start wave and pacer flag guidance.
