There will also be portable toilets at Cross Green.

Will there be first aid stations around the course?

Our medical team will be positioned at the finish line, and at the water station on The Ridings. You will pass the water station twice on your run, approximately 4km and 9km into the race. An additional response vehicle will support as needed in case of emergencies. If you need to drop out for any reason, please do let the nearest marshal know and we can arrange for a vehicle to collect you and take you back to the start/finish area. It is imperative each runner completes the medical form on the back of their number bib prior to the race. There is also a first aid point at Cross Green in the Race Village.

When will the results of the race be available?

Race results are available using the QR code as displayed on your race bib. Those with competitive times are asked to attend Cross Green to see if they have won the best chip time in their category, this is where you can collect your winning trophy and have your photograph taken.

Where and what time is the prize-giving ceremony?

Prize giving will be held just after the race results become available in within Cross Green Race Village at around 20.30hrs. If you believe to have had a competitive chip time in your category please make your way to this area.

Yes, a full list of race results will be posted the day after on the website. You'll also be able to access previous race results in our archive.

Is the race chip-timed?

Yes, all runners' bibs house the timing chip for the race, so all you need to do is attach your number bib to your front for us to accurately record your race time.

Are headphones allowed during the race?

In line with UK Athletics ruling, headphones/earphones are not permitted for runners for health and safety reasons where roads are not fully closed. Bone conducting headphones are allowed, as they do not sit in the ears and still allow you to hear what is going on around you.

From where do we collect our free goodie bags and t-shirts?

Runners will be able to collect their free goodie bags and t-shirts from the stalls in Woodgate after the race has finished. Please do not take goodie bags for non-runners. We will do everything we can to ensure you receive your desired size, provided you booked by 5 May.

Does the race give out medals?

In previous years to make this race affordable and ensure 100% of registration fees can go straight to LOROS we have not provided medals. In 2024 we saw an exception to this as a sponsor was able to fully fund these, in 2026 we are not currently able to offer this.

Can I volunteer to help at the race?

Our volunteers are vital in making the event run smoothly; we simply could not put the event on without lots of people helping to marshal the route. If you have any friends or family who would like to support the race in this way please encourage them to sign up.
