About
Ørsta Fjellmaraton is a social mountain marathon in the Sunnmøre Alps, offering half marathon, marathon, and a short 7 km route with around 1350 m of elevation. Known as Norway’s cheapest marathon, it emphasizes community, low-key competition, and stunning fjord and mountain views.
Catering & aid stations
Fluid stations (drykant) located roughly halfway on the half marathon and marathon routes; only self-supplied nutrition on the short 7 km route. The finish area provides complimentary Cola, bananas, crisps, water, and juice.
Pacers
Pacemakers will be present for the competitive races with target times published on the race page (Renntag for løpende). Pacers help runners maintain desired speeds; flags mark pacers on course. Follow official announcements and the race checklist for meet times and grouping.
