Pacers

Pace groups are organized on race day with target times per start wave. Pacers must wear pacer flags and must not drop below their assigned target times. Drafting is not allowed; always yield to faster athletes and vehicular traffic.

What is the swim course like?

Swim is in the community pool, 22 lengths in lanes; feet-first entry required, stay right to avoid collisions.

Are bikes allowed on the course?

Yes, bikes are allowed. You must mount outside the transition area and dismount before re-entering. Helmets must be fastened at all times while on the bike.

Is there a prize ceremony?

Yes, awards are distributed after the 5K and there is an awards ceremony and meal in the high school cafeteria after the triathlon.
