About

Rumble on the Ridge is a take on the traditional Backyard Ultra—Last Person Standing. Set on a 1-mile loop in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin, the event challenges runners to complete laps every 20 minutes until only one person remains.

Catering & aid stations

On-course aid stations offer fruit, sweet & salty snacks, carbs, hot food (grilled cheese, quesadillas, bacon), plus Skratch Labs hydration, water, soda, and coffee. Cups are not provided—bring your own hydration vessel.

Pacers

Not applicable—no pacers or support allowed on course. Participants must carry all aid and collect scoring at checkpoint tents.

What is the loop distance and elevation gain?

Approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) per loop with about 250–300 ft of elevation gain per lap.

Are there aid stations?

Yes—two fully stocked aid stations per loop offering water, sports drinks, food, and Skratch Labs hydration.

Can I drop bags or get support on course?

No pacers or outside support on course. Drop bags and crew tents are available in the designated checkpoint area.
