How do I sign up with a team?
During the registration process, select YES when asked if you would like to JOIN or CREATE a GROUP/TEAM. The first member of your team to register will click the CREATE A NEW GROUP/TEAM button, indicate the GROUP/TEAM TYPE, enter a TEAM NAME (the geekier the better), and create a PASSWORD, if desired. The specific PASSWORD will be required for anyone wanting to join the team. Subsequent registrants will click JOIN AN EXISTING GROUP/TEAM, enter the team name and password provided by the Team Captain in the boxes provided. Sponsors receiving free race entries will be asked to enter their specific COUPON CODE on the REVIEW YOUR REGISTRATION INFO page. Why am I not given an option to join or create a team? Teams are only incorporated with 5K participants, since trophies and medals are awarded to the top 3 corporate and community teams, respectively. If you are registering for the 1-Mile Fun Run, you will NOT be prompted to JOIN nor CREATE a team. How do team captains access their rosters? 1. Captain will need to login to RunSignUp using their personal account. 2. On the Profile page, it will list out their Upcoming Registered Events. Below that, there should be an option for them to select “Groups”. Click on the Team name (i.e. CHRISTINE TEST below). From there they’ll be able to see additional detail. 3. From here, the Captain will be able to view all group members and/or add additional administrators to the team. They can download a full list of participants as well. What awards are available? Please visit our AWARDS page for details on how to win bobbleheads, medals, and trophies. Are strollers allowed on the course? Yes, strollers are allowed on the course. We simply ask that you start at the back of the pack and be considerate of the runners around you. Is there a maximum time to finish the race? No, there is no official time limit. However, we do anticipate walkers completing the course within one hour. If you anticipate this being a problem, please let us know your expected finishing time. Is this race kid-friendly? Absolutely! All ages are welcome to run with us. Plus, bobblehead trophies will be given to the top male and female runners in the 9 and below age group. Can I transfer my bib to someone else?
