Run Up for Heroes 5K presented by Helping Hands for Heroes (HHH) is a Florida-based nonprofit fighting veteran homelessness through transitional housing and wrap-around services.

Pacers

Pacers will be shown in the Renntag für Laufende schedule and on the course with Pacerflaggen. Target times per start wave are provided for each pacer group to help runners maintain their desired pace.

FAQ

Are refunds or transfers allowed?

No refunds or transfers; however, a one-time deferment to the following year is permitted for any reason with a $25 fee, if requested at least 5 days before race day via your RunSignUp profile.

What happens in case of bad weather?

All events are rain or shine. Organizers may delay, modify format (e.g., duathlon/run), or cancel only if safety is compromised. If canceled, a 25% credit valid for one year may be issued.

Do I need a USAT membership?

Yes, all participants must have a USAT membership (annual or one-day) purchased during registration.

What should I bring to transition and the start?

Arrive one hour before first wave. Transition opens at 5:30 a.m. and closes 10 minutes before wave start. Volunteers help with packet pickup, body marking, and chip handout.
