A fun, family-oriented fundraising event featuring a challenging 7K trail course through Maplewood State Park, plus a 1-Mile LIFE Hike and Kid’s Run WILD.

Catering & aid stations

Water stations at three points along the 7K course; additional refreshment/finish area offers post-race refreshments.

Pacers

Pacers set target times per Startwave shown on the start/finish area and indicated by Pacerflaggen on race day; follow the pacer’s assigned wave and timing to stay on schedule.

FAQ

What is included with my race fee?

All participants receive a race shirt, unique finisher medal, and race refreshments; 1-Mile hikers get a t-shirt and refreshment; Kid’s Run participants receive a finisher ribbon and goodie bag.

Where and when can I pick up my race packet?

Packets are available Friday, June 12, 4:00–6:00 pm at Health Resources Center in downtown Fergus Falls, and race day at the Josh Hanson Memorial Picnic Shelter.

What are the courses like?

The 7K is a challenging off-road trail through Maplewood State Park with uneven terrain, mini-hills, and the Ironwood Hill; the 1-Mile is an out-and-back; the Kid’s Runs are on the lakeshore at Lake Lida.

Are there water and aid stations?

Three water stops are on the 7K course; a help-yourself first-aid kit and additional refreshment area are located at the Josh Hanson Memorial Picnic Shelter and finish line.
