About

Ryde Harriers are hosting a track race series at the fairway Sandown, as part of the club’s summer series. There will be a track race approximately once a month, from May to September, with multiple races each evening seeded by estimated finish time. Entry is via the free online portal and is preferred even if attendance is tentative.

Toilets available at the venue. Free parking on site.

Pacers

Pacers will be provided per Startwelle with target times aligned to the Race Programme. Pacers help with lap counting and crowd guidance under UKA Rule 141S2; wear the provided pacer bib. Refer to the event programme on the day for assigned pacer groups and precise timing.

Do I need to register online for each race?

Yes — please use the free online entry portal for each race so we can estimate finish times. Entry on the day is still accepted but online registration is preferred.

How much does it cost to enter?

£1.50 per evening for non-Ryde Harriers (payable at number collection). No prizes are awarded; racing is for glory.

What age groups are catered for?

Minimum ages vary by distance: 17+ for 10,000m, 15+ for 5,000m, 13+ for 3,000m and 1 mile. UKA Rule 141S2 maximum track distances per age apply.

Is there a club T-shirt or vest?

Yes — club T-shirts/visors must be worn. Look for the T-shirt in your race pack or at collection.

Are there toilets and parking at the venue?

Yes — toilets are available at the venue and free parking is provided.
